Robert Korzeniowski, outstanding sportsman, former racewalker and fourfold Olympic champion (from Atlanta, Sydney and Athens) was a special guest at our University. In front of big audience – more than 400 students – he made a lecture about the most important issues connected with sports medicine. He highlighted the importance of cooperation between good physiotherapist and athlete and gave a bunch of advices for sport-beginners – for example how to plan the training sessions in proper way.
After Robert, the speech made Dariusz Ciborowski – graduate of our University,
physiotherapist from LuxMed Company (official partner of Olympic Committee). He explained what’s the most important in physiotherapist’s work and made the presentation about FMS test (Functional Movement Screen).
