The Polish national team won two matches, drew one, and lost only one in the group stage. In the semi-finals, they won a hard-fought match against Germany 4–3. The final against Austria ended in a 3–3 draw after regular time. In the penalty shootout, our team lost by a narrow margin of 2–3.
