Professor Adam Kantanista has been appointed Vice President for Europe of the International Organization for Health, Sports and Kinesiology (IOHSK).
This appointment is the result of Prof. Kantanista’s recent international activities and close collaboration, primarily with Prof. Hosung So, who serves as President of the IOHSK (2023–2027) and CEO (since 2020), and is a professor at California State University, San Bernardino, in the United States. Together, they focus on developing scientific collaboration, creating new initiatives, and strengthening the international community centred on health, sports, and kinesiology.
A key milestone in this collaboration was the participation of our university representatives in the IOHSK conference in Seoul, where contacts were established and expanded with researchers from various countries.
The IOHSK is an international organisation that brings together researchers, faculty members, students, doctoral candidates and practitioners in the fields of health, sport and kinesiology. Its activities include organising scientific conferences, supporting international cooperation, publishing, fostering the development of young researchers, and creating opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and experience.
The IOHSK also offers a range of fellowship programmes and other forms of support for students, doctoral candidates and researchers, and invites individuals interested in developing international scientific and professional cooperation to become members.
