On Saturday, November 29, 2025, our University organized the third workshop in the educational series “The Pilates Method in Healing,” aimed at women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families. This event is part of our University’s mission, fitting into the applied dimension of scientific activity—the transfer of research results to the public sphere for the benefit of the target group of patients.
The event included lectures, discussion panels, and practical classes with the participation of renowned specialists in the fields of oncology, physiotherapy, physiology, dance, and, of course, the Pilates method. A total of 107 participants took part in the entire cycle, 23 of whom participated more than once. Online workshops will also be held on December 7, 14, and 21, 2025.
“Participating in this event gave me great satisfaction—the excellent organization, a large dose of knowledge, and the unique practical part created a truly valuable experience,” reports one of the participants.
The event ended with a summary of the entire cycle and a remarkable chamber concert for soprano and piano, which became a symbolic expression of gratitude to all participants and individuals and institutions supporting the project.
