Award from the European Commission
An international project “Recall: Games of the Past – Sports for Today” co-ordinated by Małgorzata Bronikowska, PhD, received an award from the European Commission. The aim of the project was to collect old games and sports, and introduce them to today’s children – both with and without disabilities. The participants of the project came from Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Portugal, Hungary, Ireland, Luxembourg, Serbia and Poland.
The General Directorate of Education and Culture described the project as a “success story”. In an official letter it said that this title is given to undertakings which have a special effect on the society, present a creative approach or innovative results and may inspire others.
